DUNEDIN WOOL SALES.
The 190G-7 wool season en mo to a close, as far as Dunedin is concerned, with the holding of tho fourth sale! Tho catalogue submitted was small (about 800 bales) and irregular in quality. On the whole, selling brokers nvo inelinod to t/noto n slightly improved market, considering tho character and condition of the wool, much of which was "seedy." Tho highest price obtained for greasy wool was 133 d per lb, realised by two bales of lialf and quarter-bred. A small lino of scoured wool realised 16Jd. An advance has been quoted as follows: — Merinos id to id per lb, halfbreds at par to ,|d per lb, crossbreds £d to §d per lb, merino and hnlfbred pieces at par to £d, crossbred pieces at id to Id, locks at par.
