The dates tentatively fixed for matches if an American University Rugby team visits New Zealand are : — Auckland, April 17th; Wellington, April 20th and 24th; Christchurch, April 27th ; lnvercargill, May Ist; Dunedin, May 4th; Palmerston North, May Bth; Wanganui, May 11th; New Plymouth, May 15th. Tho New Zealand Union will guarantee £1000. Wellington, February 22. The* New Zealand Rugby Union has 1 decided that it cannot fall in with the wishes of the Exhibition authori--1 ties to hold a football tournament : at the Exhibition at Easter.
