At the Anglo Japanese Alliance banquet in JPokio, Count Hayashi said the alliance was strengthened with the growing sense of friendship. Mr Lowther. Councillor to the Embassy, said King Edward's present advisers cordially endorsed the alliance, striving to faithfully execute the stipulations in accordance with the desire of Britain. Prince Fushima has left Tokio oh a mission of friendship to England.
