SEYMOUR-HICKS LIBEL CASE

Frederick Henry Woolfries, alias Dare, has been sentenced to eight months' imprisonment at the Liverpool assizes, for libelling Mr Sey-mour-Hicks, the actor and author. [Woolfries, who pretended to be a brother to PhyUis Dare, the young actress, made written charges in a letter to a barmaid he was courting of immorality against Mr Hicks and Phyllis Dare, and although they were ridiculous on account of the youth of Miss Dare, so much annoyance was occasioned to the parties slandered < ' tip* a criminal aowoo w«t tohpi.] r
