MARTON POULTRY SHOW.
■» — A committee meeting of the Marton Poultry Shov^was h9ld in the Council Chambers on Tuesday evening, the Mayor presiding. Present — Messrs Vfooridge, Silby, Robson, McEldowley, Goebel, and Secretary. The Mayor moved, That this committee, on behalf of the Association, lesires to place on record its regret at the premature death of one of its members, the late Mr Jamießon, of Marton, and that a letter of condolence be forwarded to his relatives. Seconded by Mr John Robson, and carried. Resolved, on the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr Robson, That a letter of thanks be forwarded to the proprietor of the Feilding Star for the concession made in the Show advertisement in his paper. Resolved, That Mr Robson be authised to arrange with Mr Snellgrove re fixing up pens at show. Mr J. Wales' name was added to the committee in lieu of Mr J. Jamieson, deceased. The space arrangements for exhibits at the show were left in the hands of Mr Silby. Mr Goodacre, of New Plymouth, has intimated to the committee his intention -to forward 68 exhibits to the Show, comprising the leading^ classes. The meeting adjourned until next Wednesday evening, when all entries close.
