MONTGOMERY'S ENTERTAINERS.
At the Drill Hall to-morrow evening, in addition to stirring attractions in pictorial photographs of the 'Frisco tragedy and the eruption of Vesuvius, and also a fine array of animated pictures of a miscellaneous character, an excellent musical programme will be contributed. Among new faces to appear will be Mr W. H. Montgomery, brother of the well-known proprietor. He has only quite recently arrived from England, whei c he was associated with several of the leading operatic companies, inoluding the D'Oyley Carte Company, with whom he filled the important role of principal baritone. Of his vocalisation the Manchester Guardian says: — "Mr Montgomery's beautiful voice enabled him to do full . justice to the lovely music given to Grosvenor in ' Patience,' which he sang with great taste."
