ANOTHER SHIPPING DISASTER.
60 People Drowned. Telegraph Press Association Copyright Received Jan 25, 8.26 a.m. Vancouveb, Jan 24. The Pacific Coast Company's steamer Valencia went ashore at Vancouver. Sixty persons were drowned and one hundred are in peril ; nine others reached Cape Beale. A salvage steamer has been sent.
