Cheltenham-Kiwitea Sports
On New Year's Day, January Ist, the above will be held in Mr Bruce 's paddock at Cheltenham— an ideal ground for holding sports, there being a natural grandstand overlooking the running track, from which spectatoTg havg & splendid view of all thai is going on. The programme for the day is published OQ the first page, and athletes and owners of jumping and trotting horses should bear in mind thai nominations and entriea elese with the Secretary, Mr G H Currin, on the 31st inst. Liberal prize money is offered, and local runners and oyelists will find it to their advantage to compete at these sports in preference to going to the expense of traveling further away from home. The sports are well oonduoted, and a pleasant day is assured to all who attend the outing in Mr Brace's paddock on New Year's Day.
