A H. Atkinson reports : -A moderate entry of 60 pigs came to hand on Friday. The demand was good and rates were maintained. A small entry of poultry met a dull market. Business in other lines was quiet. Quotations : — Pigs—Weaners 12s 3d to 14s 3d, slips and stores 14s to 17s Gd, sow 88s, boar 31s. Poultry— Fowls 2s lOd to 3s 2d, ducks 8s 4d per pair. Produce— New potatoes 2d to 2£d per Ib, old do (in bad condition) 5s 6d to 12s per sack, bacon dairy sd, factory 6£d, hams, dairy 6d, factory 7d, wheat 4s 3d per bushel, oats 3s.
