The Colonials Banquetted.

Received Dec i, 8.32 a.m. London, Dec 8. The Rugby Union* banquetted the New Zealanders at the Trocadero. The English team, Lords Ranfurly and Kinnaird, Mr Beeves, and many sportsmen were present. Mr Rowland Hill presided. He congratulated the New Zealand on their pure amateurism. England was grateful at being awakened to her slackness by her colonial sons. Wellington, December S.
