Australia and New Hebrides Melbourne, This Day. Premier Deakin, replying to questions in the House with reference to the New Hebrides, said it was in con testable that the most excellent relations existed between Britain and France, but he was not aware that relations of the most intimate character would justify the sacrifice of any established right of the Government of Britain which had recently been reminded of the strong views Australia held. No sacrifice of the rights held by either country should be asked.
