Telegraph Press Association Copyright Sydney. September 4. At the Land Commission, J. B. Stephens gave evidence that what purported to be bis signature, taking up a certain lease, was a forgery. He gave no authority to take it up, nor paid any money in connection therewith. He declared that the evidence he gave when previously before the Commission was all false. Hoskins, station manager for Willis, persuaded him to give false evidence.
