• Anti Jewish Disturbances. Telegraph Press Association. Copyright St. Petersburg, August 30. The Kertch municipality has withdrawn from police subvention, demanded a senatorial investigation into the anti-Jewish disturbances, and has also commended the commandant of the pott, Captain Sobietzky, alone among officials for displaying energy and humanity in preventing wholesale massacres. A resolution was also adopted in favour of compensating Jewish sufferers and censuring authorities at their inaction.
