With the exception of a charge of wife murder against Daniel Swan, the cases are of the ordinary nature. True Bills were found in all of the cases. Harry Hart aged 31, pleaded guilty to forgery and was sentenced to twelve months. William Hicks, aged 23, ploaded guilty to forgery. His Honor said the offence was a serious one, but there were cases m which probation was justified and this was one. His Honor thought that the accused gave way under a great stress of circumstances, hia wife being ill and he being in financial difficulties. Ho was admitted to probation for twelve months.
