The machine in question lays bricks. It is claimed by tho^e who have seen tbe machine that it will lay bricks witb all the skill of tbe most accomplished bricklayer, with perfect accuracy, and with a rapidity that discounts tbe human hands. Tbe report is to tbe effect that with two or three men operating the machine, supplying it with bricks and mortar, it will do the work of a dozen brick layers in tbe course of a day, carrying up a wall as if by magic. It ih further olaimed tbat tbe machine oan be easily and quickly regulated, as as to skip wherever it is desired to leave doors and windows, doing tbis work with seeming buman intelligence. It is also eaid tbat tbe machine is not complicated, will not easily get out of order, and is in every way a practical and useful invention, sure to come iuto general use by contractors
