CADET RIFLE MEETING.

The Manawafcu RiHe Association ! held its-firsc cadet rneotinff on Satui 1 ' day at the Hokowhitu range. The day was beautifully fine, with very i little wind blowing. Prizes were fairly evenly divided, though Feilding and Campbell street figured most prominently on the lists. Feilding A team won the teams match, in which lv teams competed. Corporal Belk, of Feildiug, also carried off tho aggregate championship after tying with Lieut. J. Perrin, of Campbell street. In the fire-off each boy had five shots at 200 yds, and though Perrin went away with the lead Belk caught him on the fourth round and won by two points, amid great excitement among the juvenile competitors. In addition to other trophies, Messrs Hankins and Loughlan gave a Cup to be handed to the winner of ihe Belt, and to be won two years before it becomes the property of the holder.
