Excitement in Sydney Naval Circles.

Received July 23, 9.40 a.m. Sydney, This Day. According to the programme the flagship Euryalus was to have sailed for Fiji on August 3rd, and arrangements were made for coaling her next week. The Herald states some excitement was created in naval circles by the issue of orders late yesterday, for the Euryalus to commence coaling at daylight to-day, when she will take aboard the Whangape's cargo of Westport coal. It adds naval officers state that coal operations are being pushed on because it is not desired to detain the collier. It also denied that the island cruise of the Euryalus had been cancelled. The Herald adds that the sensational developments in connection with the war in the Far East and the unwarrantable interference with British shipping, is the sole topic of conversation in naval ciroles.
