FEILDING VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE.
The monthly meeting of the Brigade was held last eight, when the following were present : — Lieut. Wilson (chair), foreman Lowe, br. Hurdle, firemen Cronin, Jensen, G. Marston, Humphrey, Heald, Stitt, Bishop, Bramwell, Kenny, R. F. Haybittle and secretary Fitzgerald. Correspondence was read from : — Secretary of the Coronation Celebration Committee, asking the Brigade te take part in the torchlight procession on the 26th inst. Firemen Hurdle, Jensen, Bramwell, and A. Watts, tendering their resignations as members of the Brigade.— Held over until Captain Newman returns, when an inquiry would be instituted. T. H. Bred in, thanking the Brigade for their services at the late fire in Kimbolton Road, and enclosing a donation of a guinea towards the funds of the Brigade. — On the motion of the secretary, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded Me Bredin foi his donation. It was decided to take part in the torchlight procession on Coronation evening, and fireman R. F. Haybittle was appointed to represent the Brigade on the celebrations committee. Resolved, That one dozen spanners and half a dozen torches be procured at once. Firemen Humphrey and Kitchen were appointed branchmen, with G. Marston and Bishop as assistant branchmen. The following were nominated as active members of the Brigade:— Messrs J. Kingsbeer, A. Innes, A. Toy, and J. Toy. The meeting then adjourned.
