A new regulation, framed under tbe Slaughtering and Inspection Act, is gazetted. It provides that where two or more local authorities combine to establish an abattoir, tbe agreement for such combination shall be by deed under tbe se&.l of each of tbe corporate bodies, setting out tbe terms and con ditions as agreed on, provided such terms and conditions are approved by the Minister for Agriculture. In any case where an abattoir established by one local authority is to be made available for tbe purposes of another local authority, the agreement shall bo by a similar deed. Assets : Stock-in-trade, £450 ; book debt?, £100 (estimated to produce £80) ; furniture, £80 ; estimated value of security over mortgage, £167 ss ; deficiency, £96 19s 4d The secured creditor is the Feilding Building Society tbe security being a mortgage on two shops and a certain section in Hal combe valued at £340. There is only one Feilding creditor for £10 10s. Tbe first meeting of creditors will be beld at Feilding on 12th May.
