Tho weather was fine and the attendance large for the second day's races. The sum of £6991 was put through the machine for both days. Results : —
Hurdles. — Plainstone 1, Grey Ribbon 2, Ashleaf 8. Divs., £1 19s and £2 Is.
Farmers' Plate. — Jeannie D'Albert 1, Tutungarehu 2, Monument 3. Div., £3 12s.
Handicap Trot. — Czarina 1, Lynbrook 2, Unkoba 8. Div., £7 ss. A protest, entered by the owner of Unkoba against Lynbrook jostling in the straight, was upheld, but the owner of Lynbrook appealed, and the totalisator money is held back.
President's Handicap. — Ruamahunga 1, Crusoe 2, Abydos 3. Won by a length. Div., £8 10s and 16s.
Dash Hack. — Crusader 1, Blue Spur 2, En Garde 3. Won by a nose. Div., £7 12s.
Fourth Trot. — Honduras 1, Greyhound 2, Unkoba 3. Divs., £2 7s and £3 Is.
Telegraph Handicap. — The Rioter 1, Ruamahunga 2, Calceolaria 3. Won by a length. Divs., £3 16s and £1 12s.
Welter. — Wehenga 1, Plainstone 2, Syndicate 3. Won by a length. Divs., £5 14s and £1 Is.
