The Spanish Republican Deputies have been expelled from Belgium, where they have been conducting an agitatianin favour of the suffrage. The Socialists, in tendering them farewell at Brussels, insulted King Leopold. As he was riding in the street in an automobile they waved a red flag shooting "Vive Republio!" 11 Vive Universal Suffrage I" A serions Socialists' demonstration against the Catholic Deputies has occurred in the chief towns, and confliete have occurred with the police, who used their sabres and revolvers. Numbers were injured and numerous arrests have been made. The window of the Jesuit Church and Seminary at Liege were smashed. Many regiments of reserves were summoned in various districts in readiness for any outbreak.
