ATHLETIC CLUB.

The committee of the Feilding Athletic Club met in the Drill Hall last evening. There was a good attendance, and Mr Locbhead was voted to the chair. Two new members were nominated, and a considerable amount of routine businese transacted. The secretary was instructed to write to the Traffic Manager asking for trains to stop at ground as usual, and also that the afternoon train stop to pick up passengers. The president and secretary were appointed a sub-committee to purchase bracelets. It was decided to bold the concert in the Drill Hall and Theatre, and the dance in the Assembly Booms. The ground committee reported that the running track wad in fair order, and is to be rolled at once. The concert com* mittee stated matters were in a forward state. The meeting then adjourned till Tuesday, December 8, when officers for the forthcoming meeting will be elected.
