_ ♦ The following are the traffic returns on the Wellington-Napier-New Plymouth section for the four weeks ending 12th October, 1901, and for the corresponding period in 1900 : —
Totals £83,125 17 5 £28.575 2 11 The total receipts for the colony were £959,581 3s Bd, and for the same period last year £872,157 18s 9d, a very creditable increase.
