AUSTRALIAN CABLES.
Press Association. Telegraph. Copyright Melbourne March 13. The Postmaster-General has received the text of the agreement with tbe Eastern Extension Co. over the Cape cable. The provisions which provide a penny a word for the use of land linos instead of £5 per mile as originally proposed, have been cabled home to the Company for approval.
