The hearing of the charge of wife-mur-der against Thomas Galloway was continued to-day, when medical evidence was taken, after which the Court adjourned. Wellington February 28. The University Senate reports that the following passed the matriculation examination, 1899:— R. D. Bagnall, S. E. Lethbridge, B. N. Sandilands.
