Roman Catholic Bazaar.
The Bazaar opened again yesterday afternoon and evening. There was ra attendance during the afternoon, and in the evening th« hall was crowded, therefore' good business was done at the stalls. The Maypole dance" was given in. the afternoon and twice in the evening. The children acquitted themselves very creditably and were applauded. Those w hb- took pfart in this dance were : — May Queen, Miss Flossie Saxon ; pages, Alma Say well and Jessie Scott i Maypole girls Mary .Weswc, Eva Peherty; j?T. Waddiagton, May Scott, H. Kite,' M. Waddington, M. Fapley, E. Williamson, E. Garlick, Li 'Edwards, L. Saunders, L. Boss, L. Coles and IST. Bowler. Songs were given by Mr F. Reade, c> The Tar's Farewell." Mits Grant, •' Marguerite," and pianoforte solos by Miss Oainpion and Mr Kearsley. Everybody, apppeared to derive much pleasure from the Bazaar as they moved about from stall to stall inspecting the miscellaneous collection of goods exposed for sale. The majority were so interested in the proceedings that they forgot to go home till a late hour. The second night of the Bazaar may be considered even a greater success than .the first. Tonight there . will be tableaux and songs by the best local and other talent, the whole comprising an excellent programme, -f
