The various ' cattle yards were mostly well filled. j The quality generally was good ! Bidding was brisfr, almost the whole going off under the hammer. Sheep in large numbers sold freely, and at an advance on previous rates. At Bt. Hill Street yesterday cattle were in limited supply. For bullocks and fresh steers an unsatisfied inquiry existed were plentiful and the bulk sold Pric-s in relation to stores may be described as being at a premium. *iood sound breeding ewes of any quality rule high. Pigs in moderate supply made recent rates.
