Breeders must come to the conclusion, after perusing the above particulars, that they are fortunate in having so highly a bred young horse, and one so closely reIn ted to all the best and most valuable strains of blood to be found in Australasia. Handsome Jack will be limited to a number of marcs Thoroughbreds 5 guineas, and half bred* at a reasonable reduction. Inspection of this son of St. Leger is invited. Splendid grazing at my farm at Kiwitea, near Feilding, for one month, after that time Is 6d per week will be charged. All care will be taken with mares, especially thoroughbred mares and their foals, for which I have special paddocks, but no responsibility will be accepted. Mares br train will be met at Feilding Railway Station, after arrangements are made. St. Leger. the sire of Handsome Jack. is standing this season at Auokland, at a fee of 50 guineas, and is limited to 15 mares. For further partionlars apply to W. F.
