Meflsrs F. R. Jackson and Co. 's Wang, anui stock report : — On Friday at Waverley we had a fair entry of cattle and only a few pens of sheep. We sold out at the prices below. At St Hill Street a large entry of sheep were penned, of these we did not succeed in disposing of all. The bidding for cattle was better than of late, and pigs were well competed for. We quote : — Cattle— At Waverley— 2yr old steers, L 2 5s to L 2 11s 6d ; milch cows, L 6 5s ; weaners, 20s ; calves, 12s 6d. At St Hill Street— Fat c«ws, L 2 19s 6d ; milch, L 2 to L 5 10s ; old cows, 25s to 82s. Sheep— At Waverley— Shorn wethers, 9s 6d ; ewes, 6s 10d ; culled hoggets, 3s 6<i. At Wanganui— Fat ewes, 9a 3d ; ■bora wethers, 10s Id to 11s ; hoggets, 7s 6d ; culls, 3s lOd ; empty ewes, 6s 9d Pigs— Breeding bows, 20s to 20s 6d ; small baconers, 25s to 27s ; porkers, 12s ; small pigs, 8s 6d. Poultry— Fowls 2s 9d to 4s, ducks 3» to 4s the couple.
