(Por Press Association.) Sydney, August 2. There is great activity in the timber industry at the Clarence river. Two vessels have sailed with New Zealand orders, while a large shipment of tallow aud wool has been despatched to the order of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Large orders are al«o in hand for other English Railway Company. Largo orders are also in band for other English railway .companies. Jn consequence of the increased export trade hardwood has risen 2s per 100 ft. Melbourne, August 3. A heavy shower of raiu fell at Frankston (on the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay) charged with sulphur.
