The following are the Traffic Returns for the Napier-Taranaki section of railways for the four weeks ending 30th January, 1897, and for the corresDondini? four weeks 1896 : —
A fair increase. The total revenue for the colony was £1,051,875 12s and for 1896 it was £961,902 15s 10d, showing that the progress was not cou6ned to one section.
