At the Bon Marche great preparations are now being made for the annual stocktaking sale. Messrs Spence and Spence are now busy going through and re-marking their stock in every depart" ment. No stone will bs left unturned to make this sale a success to purchasers and sellers alike. — Advt. There has never been such a golden opportunity for securing bargains as that which now presents itself at the removal sale now on at the U.F.C.A. Sweeping reductions have been made in all departments to effect a clearance, in many cases discounts as high as 10s in the £ are being offered for cash.— Advt. John Cobbe has on hand a lot of com* plete costumes in drill and muslin which he is disposing of at the following reductions, viz., 21/6 for 7/6, 15/- for 9/6, 27/6 to 89/6 for 15/-.— Advt. Mrs Rbodie Noah, of this place, was taken in the night with cramping pains and the next day diarrhoea set in. She took half a bottle of blackberry cordial but got no relief. She then sent for me to see if I had anything that would help her. I sent her a bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy and the first dose relieved her. Another of our neighbors had been sick for about a week and had tried different remedies for diarrhoea but kept getting worse. I sent him this same remedy.
