The Burgess Tragedy.

(Per Press Association) Sydney, This I)ay. Tbe Inquest on Burgess was adjourned till Wednesday. Several witnessos who saw and talked to Butler and Burgess while prospecting positively identified the body as that of Burgess by the clothing and a peculiar formation of tbe teeth. One witness produced a book given him by, Butler and inscribed Frank B. Harwood. Road, a mainten ance man, talking with Butler, said he would not find cold at tbe place they were prospecting whereupon Butler became indignant aud said be knew better. While Butler was absent Burgess asked tbe man not to take any notice of Butler as be was a queer fellow and did not say much but thought a lot Ho also told tbe man that Butler was a mining expert partly paid by tbe Government and partly by a Sydney Syndicate and \t he struck a good thing it would be better for them all.
