RED STARS v. AWAHURI.
The above match was played on the Oval, Feilding, yesterday, between the Red Stars and Awahuri, resulting in a win for the former team by 27 points to nil. The Stars had the game all to themselves from start to finish. W. Smith (3), A. Way (2), J. Rosaman (1), and B. Hamilton (1) scored tries, one of which J. Mingins converted, and he also kicked a goal from a mark. Mr A. Richards acted as referee.

The following players have been selected to represent the Feilding Foothall Club in the match to be played against the Palmerston N. Club, at Palmerston, on Saturday next: — Parr, Giesen, Barlow, Richards, Shannon, Barlow, Matravers, Aitken, Whisker (2), Jack, Giesen, Johnston, Lee, and Beard. Emergencies — Backs, Collins ; forwards, Matheson. A drag will leave Manchester Square at 1 o'clock, and players arc requested to roll up punctually. A meeting of the Manawatu Rugby Football Union will be held at the Manchester Hotel this evening, at G. 15 p.m.
