Poll for Municipal Building Loan
The poll on the proposal to raise a loan of £900 for the purpose of constructing Municipal buildings at the ■ corner of Stafford street and Kimbolton road was taken yesterday and resulted in favor of the proposal. Considerable interest was taken in the , voting during the clay, and a good j number of ratepayers anxiously con- j gregated around the polling booth, when the poll had closed, to hear the fate of the loan, and when the Clerk declared the poll carried the announcement was received with cheers.
