Jabez Balfour Under Lock and Key at Last.

BROUGHT BEFORE THE COURT AND REMANDED. (Per Press Association.) London, May 6. Jabez Balfour was smuggled ashore on the Customs launch at Southampton. This step was taken to evade a small army of pressmen, who were waiting to interview the prisoner. Ho was then conveyed to Bow-street Police Station, the efforts to evade the crowd at Waterloo Railway Station being successful. Balfour was subsequently brought before the Court, and remanded.
