Polo Tournament
|Pi:r Press Association. J Wanganti, March 15. At tbe third day of the New Zealand Polo Association Tournament there was lovely weather again, and a good attendance. The first heat was Rangitikei 2nd v. Manawatu Ist. The first bout showed Manawatu on the aggressive, aud at tbe call of time bad scored 1 goal to Rangitikei's nil. In the second bout Manawatu again forced the play, and scored two more t'oals. In the third bout the Rangitikeis warmed up, and scored their first goal. The fourth bout was keenly played, both sides holding their own. Manawatu added two more goals to their credit, and Rangitikei managed to get a second goal. The game therefore ended - Manawatu, 5 ; Rangitikei, 2. Great interest was centred in the beat, Rangitikei Ist v. Christchurch, as the latter had won the Cup two years in succession. The heat resulted in a decisive victory for Rangitikei by 10 goals to one. The final heat heat will be played tomorrow between Manawatu Ist ancl Raogitikei Ist.
