Edward O'Brien, seaman of the ship Ecclefechan, 65 years of age, was found drowned in the harbour at 7 a.m. He went ashore with some mates on the previous evening, and was last seen at 10.30 p.m., when he was sober. He was fully dressed, with sea boots on, The body was floating, aud there was no marks of violence.
