Outrage in Ireland
+. (per press association.) London, January 1. An explosion took place today under the Council Chambers in Dublin Castle, resulting in sprious wreckage to the building. Experts declare that the explosive used was gun cotton. The Council should have met this afternoon. Many workmen were employed in the precincts of the building but at the time of the explosion were absent at lunch. One of the high officials of the Conn* oil had only vacated the room two minutes previous to the explosion. It is supposed that the explosive had been placed in the cellar underneath tne Council room.
