LOWES & IOKN'S SALES REPORT. Mastbbton, December 31. At the horse sale held by us at Masterton on Tuesday, about 75 horses were , offered and all but 6 sold. The 40 Napier horses were upon the whole a poor lot, the ayerage prices realized being three pounds. The draughts from Canterbury were fah'ly good useful farm horses aud winged from £jl4 to £22 ; hacks sold from £5 to £17. ' At our regular stock sale yesterday we had a good entry of both sheep and cattle : which all sold at late rates. Eat ewes, io/- to 11/6; old ewes and lambs from 11/' l to 14/4 ; 2-tooth ewes, 7/6; for culls io \2/ r . A line of small 2.tq'oth halfWds in tb)o wool sold at 12/6.
