To-night's Grands Concert

The above" concert takes place tonight at . the Assembly Booms, and although New Year's Eve is rathpr;an inconvenient time to ensure a crowded house, we still hope to see a large.attendance. The company is a firetclass one, and comprises some of the leading vocal and instrumental talent of "Wellington, and this fact should be noted when we mention the names of Mr Prouse(baritone), Mr Williams (tenor), | late of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Miss McOlean (sbpranb), Miss Fisher (contralto), Mr McDuff Boyd (violinist), ; and Mr R. Parker (organist and conductor). The programme of the concert will be found in another column. The company arrived from Wellington by the noon train to-day.
