Mr Justin McCarthy presided over a meeting of. seceders, at which the resolutions were ratified. Sir T. Esmond and Mr Deasy were appointed whips. The committee of management include Messrs Dillon, Healy, Sexton, and O'Brien. Sir John Pope Hennessy who is a candidate for Kilkenny North, is a supporter of those who seceded from Mr Parnell.
