Embezzlement of Special Settlement Monies

(per united press association.') Bulls, This Day. Yesterday, at the Resident Magistrate's Court here, H. C. Tomlinson, Secretary of the Sandon Special Settlement Association, was charged with embezzlement of i=242, money entrusted to him by the Association for purpose of paying the Government for their township lands. The case was not proceeded with and a remand was granted to Wednesday next, at Marton, to enable the Receiver of Land Revenue and Mr Marchant to be present to give evidence.
