Illness of the Bishop of Nelson
(per press association.) Nelson, November 26 The Bishop of Nelson is seriously ill. On Saturday evening when reading prayers in the Bishopdale chapel he suddenly stopped, having lost his sight. He is now suffering from congestion of the bmin. The doctors say under ilie most favourable circumstances l he must have complete r< st for three months. No man in Nelson ia more popular than the Bishop, whose sudden illness has given quite a shock to the community. Later. The serious illness of the Bishop of Nelson is causing seme anxiety. The latest report states that though no worse he is not improving.
