Supplies of fruit have been moderate; the market is still full of last week s arrivals of apples, which lira very inactive, selling from 4/- for suspected quality to 8/6 for sound cases ; island oranges 7/6 to 8/6. The demand for poultry is slackening off; fowls rule from 2/6 2/9; ducks, 3/6; turkeys, 6/6; geese, 6/- per pair.
