Iftfer humble opinion the best thing to 4o r under the present circnmstances, is to borrow sufficient money to form and metal the Aorangi-Bunnythorpe and Taonui roads, and form the remainder in No. 5 ward. I. do not see why we should be taxed to metal roads where there will not be sufficient traffic to keep the grass and thistles down. With regard to~tSe bridge, I think that is a matter whicn concwis the whole of fb* Manchester Dißtnct, the Feildihg Borough includod, and that it i 6 not fair to •saddle We whole tost of the bridge bnNb/ J 5 ward, and the 18 ratepayers in the. fManawatu trict. -The settS^lin^isghgat and Stonby Creek 1 , in Feifding '^ff Makino, have far' more' iii^sl in bridge than many of the ratepayers ln~No. 5 ward. r , Eor my. paH J , am in fajpr of We Have a railway, a ioot>bridge|T^jd a^d ls there.fojre, %^tUin%sh^ b^to^-is ,41 Juxjirjn »iich r5Tq i «anj;do t w^j^qut, until such timers a» our neigh tH>rs see fitto asiisf Ha ih'thrfTmatfe'i.^lhkm, &C-f .
