SmithV property at, three tona of stuff obtained from various holes sunk in the ground hare been tested at Mr GK jFraser's foundry Auokland. Complete tests were made by assay and by a practical test of pans, with the result that the value of the stuff was estimated at £2 14a per ton. average value of the bullion, as determined by the B&nk of New Zealand, ia £3 12s 6d.
