STEVENS & GORTON, in returning their sincere thanks to the settlers in the Counties of Rangitikei, Manawatu and Oroua for the liberal manner in which they have supported their business during their past career, have now to inform them that Mr R. S. Abraham, lately Manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Bulls, has entered the firm from this date in the place of Mr John Stevens. The business will be carried on as hitherto tinder the name of Stevens & Gortou, and that portion at Palmerston will be under the immediate control of Mr Abraham, who has taken up his residence there, and it is to be hoped that assiduous and undivided attention to their business will secure to the new firm in the future the liberal support which was accorded to the old in the past.
