Manawatu Election

Ix our last issue we stated while discussing election matters, that Mr Fbaber had no political experience. We meant by this that Mr Fbasbb had neither represented a constituency in the General Assembly nor in the Provincial or County Councils. We are aware that Mr Fbaseb has been a most useful and energetic member of the several Road Boards in his district, and has a considerable knowledge of the whole Manawatu. Mr Fbaseb it was who first induced the Government to cut the track from the Manawatu into Napier. We make this explanation in justice to Mr Fbaseb. As this gentleman will address the electors in Palmerston on Monday, and iv Feilding on Tuesday next, he will then more fully explain his claims on the Manawatn for election to the General Assembly.
