The success and general satisfaction over all previous events sufficiently introduces this. A pound secures An Even Four— not one only. The right of declining any particular application is reserved. Deducted for expenses, 10 per cent. Applicants are requested to enclose bank notes (any colony), or half soys., securely, and to Eegister the letter; if cheques be sent (marked "correct" by bank), cross and add charge for collection (payable "Australasia or Bearer" — as also post office orders). At the Drawing of "Australasia's" events there have always been present a good number of shareholders. A committee of gentlemen, chosen from among the subscribers, will conduct the drawing. Ticket- holders wishing to take part at the next drawing will please send in name and address. '•Australasia's" Last Sweep on the Sydney Cup 1883 closed with 7000 shares, subscribed in thejj abort space of two months; that on fhekst Melbourne Cup with 8000 ; that on the Sydney Cup 1884 with 5000. Drawing. — As soon as the drawing has taken place, result circulars arc mailed to all interested and advertised in the Sydney Town and Country, etc. Any applications that come in too late for the current consultation are carried to the next. Many persons who, from various reasons are unable to attend and invest for themselves, would much like to have the opportunity to safely invest a few pounds ; for this reason the above company was first inaugurated, the promoters of which, while thanking the.. public t>r their support up to the pr«sent, invite them to invost in this consultation, whim they are sure that their (the promoters) efforts will be duly appreciated Jhe Shares are £1 each, but should a would be shareholder care to invest a smaller sum, he caa do so by obtaining a hall share for lOs. Persons taking up 15 full shares will be accorded the privilege of attending, or appointing a deputy to attend, at the drawing.
